The 62nd Anniversary of India’s Independence will be celebrated at the Residence of Ambassador His Excellency Mr. Ashok Sajjanhar located at Villa No.56, Karaotkel-2, Astana on Saturday, the 15th August 2009.

The ceremony will begin with Flag Hoisting by Ambassador Shri Ashok Sajjanhar at 1000 hrs and singing of National Anthem and patriotic songs. Ambassador will briefly address the gathering, followed by telecast of President’s Address to the Nation on the eve of Independence Day. Refreshments will be served thereafter.

All Indian nationals, friends and well wishers of India, alongwith family members including children, are cordially requested to assemble at the Residence of Ambassador at 0945 hours to participate in the activities.
