Government of India will be offering scholarships for the academic year 2009-2010 to meritorious nationals of Kazakhstan to study in Indian Universities/Educational Institutions under the General Cultural Scholarship Scheme and the Cultural Exchange Programme of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi. The scholarships are offered for Undergraduate courses, Masters Degree in Arts/Science and Doctoral/Post-doctoral research, Training in Social Sciences, Performing Arts and Humanities.

     Kindly note that the applicants should have knowledge of English language sufficient to pursue higher education in India.

     Students applying for MPhil/ PhD / post doctoral courses, performing arts or Architecture should include a synopsis of the proposed area of research. Each candidate must fill up 6 copies of application forms for processing by ICCR, New Delhi.

     A scholarship is awarded only when admission is confirmed by ICCR in India. No air fare is provided to the selected candidates.
