39th International Film Festival of India, Goa
The 39th International Film Festival of India is scheduled to be held in Goa from 22nd November - 2nd December, 2008. This festival, which is accredited with the International Federation of Film Producers’ Associations (FIAPF), is the largest and most prestigious film festival in India.
The main feature of this festival is the Competition section for feature films by Asia-Pacific, African and Latin-American Directors. This year’s total prize money has been raised to US $ 175 000, which is at par with the best International festivals.
The other sections include: Cinema of the World; Retrospectives, Tributes, Focus & Premieres; Indian Panorama; Mainstream Indian Cinema; Film Bazaar and FIPRESCI award for Indian Panorama Feature Films.
Entries from Kazakhstan are invited for participation in the 39th International Film Festival of India to be held in Goa. The Regulations and Entry Form can be downloaded from the Film Festival website given below.
